Pop-Up Video is returning to the VH1 lineup this fall, with 60 new episodes that will “remain faithful” to the original. This new version will include rap and hip-hop videos, which its predecessor did not, but that doesn’t offset the fact that music videos are no longer as ubiquitous as they once were, nor are they televised with the same regularity. Still, there’s a generation of humans for whom that bloop bloop bubble sound elicits a deeply ingrained Pavlovian demand for ironic yet informative tidbits. [HR]
I own this haha
I loved Pop Up Video…it’ll be weird seeing today’s artists get the bubble treatment
My team is a small and fairly new team/league.There are around 40 of us and we’ve been doing this anywhere from 2 years to 6 months, and we have a few girls who have played in the big leagues too, but only a few.
Let me start by saying this, I love my girls, they’re my sisters. They are strong,…
That really sucks. What’s worse is that those 5 people who did show up because they do want to put in the work have to miss out because of everyone else. Hopefully you can all push the rest of your leaguemates to start taking their training more seriously. I would assume that where you’re at there are probably a few leagues in the area including leagues that are maybe more recreational and less serious…perhaps that might be a better fit for those skaters.
It’s also an unfortunate way to start out with new coaches. I’m sorry that this happened to you :/
So, I just recently started doing Crossfit. I’m using it to crosstrain for derby and also just to get fit and lose weight in general. It’s intense, you go all out, and it definitely forces you to push yourself. I also like that you have a variety of workouts and you can see your progress by either increasing weight or finishing faster.
I’ll be posting my workouts here so that I can keep track of my progress.
